What an assessment is actually like
No exams. No pass or fail. Nothing to revise for.
An assessment is a series of activities — some puzzles, some reading and writing, some memory and thinking tasks. Some parts are easy, some are meant to get harder until they are tricky for everyone. That is how it is designed.
It usually takes around six hours, and is often split across two mornings if that suits you better. There are regular breaks, and the aim is a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable enough to show what you can actually do.
Afterwards I write you a personal summary of what we found: what you are genuinely good at, what you find harder, and the strategies that will make things easier. You should come away understanding your own brain better — not feeling labelled by it.
Executive Function Coaching
For teenagers and college or university students.
Executive Function is the set of skills your brain uses to get things done — starting a task you don’t want to do, keeping track of deadlines, organising your work, managing your time, regulating your emotions when you are overwhelmed, and switching between things without losing the thread.
These skills are not fixed, and they are not about intelligence or effort. They can be built deliberately — which is what coaching is for.
I am completing my specialist coach training in November 2026 and will be taking bookings from then. Do get in touch before then if you would like to know when places open.

Exam Access Arrangements
Making sure exams measure what you know.
If reading speed, writing speed or processing speed makes exams harder for you than they should be, an assessment can provide the evidence your school or exam centre needs to apply for arrangements such as extra time, a reader or a scribe.
This is not about making exams easier. It is about removing a barrier so the result reflects what you actually know.
